Amy
instructor
Amy was born and raised in Maine, a true Portlander. She grew up doing any activity or sport her parents could get her into, from ballet to gymnastics to soccer, basketball and softball. After high school, Amy left Maine for 7 years-first living in Boston to attend college and then onto Orlando, Florida to pursue a career as a critical care nurse. Amy moved back to Maine in 2015 when she met her husband, Sean, and they started to build a life together here.
After high school, fitness was on the back-burner in Amy’s life. For years she had tried different types of workouts and fitness classes, but nothing really stuck. It wasn’t until Jibe opened in March 2018 that she tried rhythm riding for the first time, and fell in love. As time went on she got more comfortable on the bike, and took a chance by auditioning to become a Jibe instructor. After a lot of hard work and dedication, she will be bringing fun, upbeat classes with a lot of dancing on the bike to you! Expect a lot of #throwback music, pop beats, and hip-hop!
When Amy is not spinning, she is a recovery room nurse pursuing a Master’s degree. With any free time she has, she makes sure to spend it with family, friends, and her husband and their fur-baby, Presley.
